Daniel Clark, DC

My name is Daniel Clark.
I am a retired 87 year old Upper Cervical doctor … PALMER 1947

During WW II, I experienced extensive combat duty in the battle of the ”Hurtgen Forest,” Germany and the “Battle of the Bulge” at Bastogne. I came out of combat with both feet frozen. They turned as black as coal and there was a possibility of amputation.  After nine months in hospitals and rehab facilities, I was given a medical discharge with a lifetime disability pension.

After my discharge, I entered the Palmer School of Chiropractic. This was during the mid 40’s when HIO, the first Upper Cervical Corrective Procedure, was in its infancy. During the first 7 years of practice we purchased, equipped and staffed a 13 bed clinic in my home town, Anniston, Alabama. I soon realized that my military handicap would not permit me to continue standing on my feet for 10 to 12 hours each day without it affecting my health. I decided to take a 2 year leave of absence and explore the business world. Thirty five years later, I finally returned to the profession.

After being out of the profession for 35 years, I was able to clearly see and understand both the doctor’s and the patient’s perspective of Upper Cervical Care.  In 1993, we created our first Upper Cervical Illustration and for 15 years have devoted our retirement toward developing simplified patient education material specifically for Upper Cervical doctors. We are privileged to talk with Upper Cervical doctors throughout the United States on a daily basis.

WE WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH YOU WHAT WE LEARNED FROM THIS INCREDIBLE AND REWARDING EXPERIENCE.
